MeatMarketComingDown

The one-story building at 20 N. Brookside Road, Springfield, Pa., was demolished July 7, 2009 to make way for a parking lot of the shopping district.
It's most recent incarnation was Cornerstone Pizza which replaced Brookside Village Pizza, which if memory serves,
replaced a another pizza shop that advertised "broasted chicken" none of which could compete with the pizza from Sciarrino's or the hoagies from Sleepy Hollow Delly.
The building had been a butcher shop in the '60s and '70s and ghostly words "Meat Market" were unveiled on the building's front during demolition.
